USA Today’s most recent poll, conducted over the weekend, shows John McCain up 54-44% over Barack Obama among likely voters. This is a stunning reversal from before our convention, which had us down 7%.

His choice of Gov. Sarah Palin also had a positive impact on the ticket with 29% of the vote saying they are more likely to vote for the ticket now.

Of course, this is a convention bounce, and the race is likely to get tighter once again, but this bounce is HUGE and goes to show that the American voting public finds something quite appealing about the two mavericks on our ticket.
